Oyster Bay on the Water

This one-story house with an attic faces the water in Oyster Bay, Long Island. The program called for finishing the attic above the first floor and adding a cathedral ceiling addition which included an expanded kitchen. It connects to an enclosed “endless pool” room which opens to a paved outdoor patio.

The front of the house, which faces the bay, received a linear continuous covered porch and porte cochere at the front entrance.
